3.1 Safe to install
EduKids: Elementary School at Home is a comprehensive educational platform designed to support parents in facilitating their children's learning in a user-friendly manner. Covering Grades 1 through 5, including levels 2, 3, and 4, it offers a range of features for monitoring progress and engaging students effectively.
The platform features 201 exercises presented as quizzes, each offering between two and six answer options. To assist younger children, questions and answers can be read aloud and repeated upon request, ensuring accessibility and comprehension.
To motivate students, EduKids employs a star-based reward system. Correct answers earn stars, which can be exchanged for virtual stickers and background themes. The objective is to collect all available rewards, fostering engagement and a sense of achievement.
Children receive four daily exercises selected by the virtual teacher. These exercises are personalized based on the topics chosen by parents, ensuring that the tasks align with each child's individual learning needs. The program adapts to the child's level to provide an appropriate challenge.
The application offers two user interface modes: Advanced and Simple. The Advanced mode allows older children to explore all features independently, while the Simple mode guides younger users step-by-step through assigned tasks, reducing the risk of confusion. Both modes remain accessible to parents, who can assign exercises and track progress efficiently.
The Parents' Area enables straightforward management of child profiles—creation, assignment of homework, monitoring results, and deletion as necessary. This section also allows parents to assign targeted exercises or access pre-made homework modules designed for multiple days, facilitating revision or holiday preparation.
When assigning exercises, parents select three topics for each child to focus on. The daily exercise set then emphasizes these areas to optimize learning outcomes.
Achievements in the form of trophies reward careful work: completing an exercise without mistakes earns up to three trophies per activity. The goal is to collect all trophies across exercises as an incentive for sustained effort.
The platform categorizes exercises into three modes: 'Parents' Exercises' which are assigned by adults; 'Daily Exercises' selected by the virtual teacher based on parental choices; and 'Self-Selected Exercises,' chosen voluntarily by the child. The initial four self-selected exercises each day generate stars; additional voluntary exercises do not contribute to star accumulation.
The 'Challenge' mode becomes accessible only after completing all designated exercises and four free activities. This mode involves answering lengthy question sets—ranging from 5 to 30 questions consecutively—without errors. It offers a high star reward but presents significant difficulty and is locked until mandatory tasks are finished each day.
